A leaking cooler line can drain an automatic quickly, and the originals on a 1968-1970 Ford Mustang/Cougar are usually past due. This Right Stuff pre-bent stainless steel transmission cooler line is the line that carries automatic transmission fluid between the transmission and the cooler in the radiator, CNC bent to match the original routing and ready to install.
Why It's Worth It
- Pre-bent to the original factory pattern
- No cutting, bending or flaring at home
- Ends finished with OE-type fittings
- Stainless steel resists corrosion and keeps a clean natural finish
- Made for the 1968-1970 Ford Mustang/Cougar, not cut from a universal coil
Before You Order
- Check the fluid level and inspect the cooler fittings at the radiator after installation
- Stainless is harder than mild steel, so tighten fittings carefully to seat the flares
- Compare with your original line before installing
